Overwhelmed ... and not knowing where to turn for assistance?
Unable to care for his elderly mother with Alzheimer's type dementia who lives several hundred
miles away, Stephen was unaware of the services available to assist his mother.
Debera Powers, LCSW, RG was consulted to find a suitable living arrangement and coordinate
the transition to her new home. Debera provides occasional oversight to ensure that Stephen's mother's needs are attended
to. In addition, she phones Stephen on a regular basis to ensure that he is aware of how his mother is managing.
Debera Powers, LCSW, RG is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in serving the
senior and disabled community in the metropolitan Denver area.
