“I
strive to provide the highest quality service possible for my clients.”
Bart Cox
I
constantly review my clients’ situations to determine if there is any help or services that they might need in any aspect
of their lives. I consider myself to be very thorough in my service provision.
I go to great lengths to seek out the most appropriate services for my clients, and to make sure that they receive needed
services. I do this in a caring way, which promotes my clients’ dignity
and autonomy to the greatest extent possible. I strive to promote communication between myself, my clients, family members,
and other service providers involved in my clients’ care, so that we can all work as a team..
I
received my Master’s degree in Social Work in 1989 from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins. I became a Certified Addictions Counselor in 1990 and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 1993. For the first 14 years of my professional career, I worked with adults with both severe mental illnesses
and chemical dependency, providing counseling and case management services. In
2000 I started working as a social worker for medical home health care agencies. In 2001 I started to do court-appointed guardianship work. In 2006, I became a registered guardian.
